About Us

About Mandy:

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated in 2008 from Drexel University in Philadelphia.  Mike and I moved to Spain in October, 2011 and it’s been a whirlwind of trying to adapt to this new lifestyle! I’m so grateful for every opportunity we have, but it’s not easy all of the time! I certainly miss many things from home but I’m trying to embrace these changes as much as possible!

About Mike:

I am a guy from the Midwest. Troy, Michigan to be precise.   I went to Michigan State University and graduated with a Electrical Engineering degree in 2006.

I am totally willing to learn and try almost anything and I have found that my interests and tastes are constantly evolving.  I never assume that what I have done, worn, or eaten in the past is the best in the world and I am always striving to find the next best thing.  Before I met Mandy, I had never had sushi.  I can now say that sushi is my favorite meal and we try to have it at least once a week.
